Would
you believe this? Men love biscuits more than women? Well neither did
we until we dived into the statistical analysis of the Sate of Online
Grocery Shopping(SOGS) April, 2012. More than 7 out of 10 shoppers who
bag biscuits in their bags are males. And this is not the first
time that we have seen this.
When we refer to the earlier report, it
fashions up a similar trend. While we see a strong male skew in the
biscuit category, we see interesting results in categories which have a
skew towards a female shopper. As we continue to dissect the shopping
basket and debate on the items that show a strong tilt towards any
particular sex, here is a chance for your to dig deep into the report
and find various interesting insights, not just about shopping trends of
males or females, but a whole gamut of other interesting analysis based
on category, brands and general demographics.
