Retailers leveraging smartphones to deliver hyper-local in-store advertising.

According to this recent article by Mobile Commerce Daily, while brands and retailers and everyone else in the retail industry have done a lot of talking about new mobile strategies to fit in-store, they’re finally starting to implement some. 

Some of these strategies include collecting data in real-time, in-stores based off of shoppers’ mobile activity in order to better understand them; in-store location services; in-store advertising and promotional pieces and apps such as Shopkick; and more.
